Every year My family and I go to vegas. We own some property. I love everything about vegas. I am pretty sure July is their hottest month. I always pack 1 pair of jeans just incase of cold weather but other than that all shorts, skirts and dresses. Caesars palace is the best place to shop. They have everything you will ever need and the biggest H&M I have ever seen, 3 whole floors of clothes. I liked the wax but that might not be your style its next to the venetian. HGM has 2 tigers inside their lobby which is awesome. If you have anymore questions feel free to send me a email. Also check out my blog from my week there.

I just came from Vegas…two days ago. It was my third time going. So I’ve seen a lot.

Generally, I wear a lot of dresses, because they are easy to pack. This time I wore see-through dresses (tasteful ones), because it’s…well, Vegas.

On the plane, wear layers so that you can modify your outfit. It’s cool on the plane, but hot on the strip (it’s cooler at night though).

So what to do? What’s my tips?

1. XS is a must for nightlife. It’s the top club in Vegas. It’s also beautiful. Also, Marquee is a good club too. Go with girl friends and you’ll probably get in free.

2. Keep in mind your hotel. I’ve stayed at the Cosmopolitan, the Wynn, and at the Encore. The Wynn/Encore has a bit of a more elegant crowd/taste to it. The cosmopolitan was more of the artsy type of people along with some of the party crowd. Knowing the type of people at your hotel gives you a vibe about it and how to dress. There location also impacted the trip. The Wynn and Encore were at the end of the strip so they were peaceful. Cosmo is in the heart of the strip so it’s loud but it gives this amazing view of the fountains.

3. Speaking of which, the fountains! Must see. Stand on the moving entrance to Bellagio to avoid the crowd.

4. Go see Bellagio Conservatory. It’s beautiful and it smells so good.

5. GET A SPA TREATMENT! Make an appointment NOW if you do. If you don’t want to, or don’t have the funds, just get a day pass. My favorite is the Madarin Oriental Spa (which is a bit expensive, but totally worth it. They PAMPER you). I also really like the Qua Bath and Spa.

6. Window shop! They have some amazing boutiques from most of the top designers. Some serious eye-candy.

7. EAT! Research the restaurants and find one that suits your needs. My favorite sit-down is Okada. It’s Japanese restaurant and it’s beautiful. The food is delish. My favorite buffet is Wicked Spoon at the Cosmo, but that’s because of the desserts and the fact that they give out complimentary champagne at breakfast (you could also get a mimosa or bloody Mary). Also, go to Jean Phillipe Passtiere (SP?) in Aria. The sandwiches are so good and so are the sticky buns.

8. DRINK! Amazing bars. You have to go. I recommend the chandelier bar in the cosmopolitan

9. Casinos. Go to the one that suits your taste. The Wynn’s casino is the most classy and the chairs are comfortable, but they didn’t really hit.

I want to wrap this up so…

Go to the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat, see the Wynn’s night show (go to the lounge that overlooks the show. It’s called Parasol Down. Drinks are expensive, but worth it for the view and the comfy couches), go to your hotel pool, take lots of pictures, and just have fun!

I enjoyed the museum, but to me, it was something that I only had to go to once.

OMG, as I write this, I just keep thinking of more and more that one can do in Vegas. I’ll mention two more and that’s it:

1. Go see a show. I recommend O at the Bellagio or Mystere at Treasure Island (and treasure island has a free show at night called Sirens of TI) or Phantom of the Opera (at either Paris or the Venetian)
2. There is like this outdoor party zone…I forgot what it’s called, but it’s $7 dollars for drinks and dancing all day.

That’s all. Have fun.

I say just go and experience Vegas. My thing is I dont take many clothes so when I get there I have NO choice but to shop which is so fun. I think Vegas is alllll about doing things and havig experiences you usually wouldn’t becasue all you have to say is “it’s Vegas” thats always the best excuse :)

anyway the other girls gave you great advice its sooo fun and you’re going to have the time of your life!
